As creative director for Balmain, Olivier Rousteing has written the dress code for confident, unapologetic glamour. He knows what modern women want to wear, whether it's a sharp blazer or a figure-hugging minidress.
When Pierre Balmain founded his namesake house in 1945, his vision was one of femininity and opulence. His reputation for beautiful garments earned him cosmopolitan, global clientele – one that still exists today. Since Olivier Rousteing's appointment in 2011, he’s brought the house into the twenty-first century and established his own Balmain army.
Co-founded by Milanese duo Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini in 2016, The Attico, meaning „penthouse” in Italian, is all about the idea of making an effortless look appear refined, a formal outfit feel comfortable for everyday, and all entrance feel grand.
Inspired by vintage interior design and negligee robes, the collections exude feminine glamour with a hint of nostalgia, and designed with strong, spirited, and individual women in mind.
