Creative Director Sarah Burton continues to garner top reviews as she adds a softer, feminine touch to Alexander McQueen’s theatrical aesthetic. The label remains a beloved favorite for impeccable tailoring and an eye for the unusual.

The late Lee McQueen, a British fashion genius famed for his dramatic runway shows that reportedly brought seasoned editors to tears, was a hard act to follow. However, Sarah Burton has successfully taken the much-loved brand to new heights while honoring its legacy. Burton went on to create the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress, and was named one of the world’s most influential people in the 2012 "Time 100".

British designer Lee Alexander McQueen established his eponymous label in 1992, inspired by dark romanticism and rebellious subcultures that has quickly solidified him as a visionary designer.

His successor, Sarah Burton has successfully continued the late designer's legacy of bold theatricality and exquisite construction with a feminine touch. With her daring silhouettes and couture finishes, Burton manages the brand's reputation for impeccable tailoring and trailblazing designs.
